Behind A Versatile You®
I’m Maisha Hodges-Miles — Visual Designer, Artisan Maker, Self-Care Advocate and Founder of A Versatile You®.
My journey began in 2016 as a creative outlet while raising my family. What started with handmade handbags gradually evolved
as both my life and my understanding of self-care changed.
During my second pregnancy and the pandemic, I began exploring aromatherapy and creating products for my own self-care. That experience transformed AVY into the brand it is today—bringing together my background as a Graphic Designer and Design Consultant with my passion for handcrafted aromatherapy and natural skincare essentials. (A VERSATILE YOU® -- SELF CARE ESSENTIALS)
Today, I use creativity, craftsmanship and my experiences as a mother and business owner to encourage others to intentionally make room for themselves. A Versatile You® is more than what I create—it’s my way of reminding people that self-care can begin with just a few intentional moments.
Community and connection are at the heart of what I do. Through local markets, wellness events, workshops, partnerships and community-centered experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with people, fellow entrepreneurs and organizations while making self-care feel more approachable.
